[CHOW #107 - STEAMPUNK PENGUIN PROFESSOR]
For ConceptArt.org's Character of the Week. A steampunk professor penguin and his assistant [of sorts]. I don't believe polar bears and penguins actually coexist, but when the idea came to me I liked it too much to pay heed to science.
Fun, fun. Hard work but it didn't take as long as I thought it would. I had to rush it a little since I wouldn't be able to work on it much closer to the deadline. The lighting on the whole is a bit gross.
Had to do a bit of program-hopping because I was unhappy using Photoshop for it. This is about 70% OpenCanvas, 30% Photoshop.

The Steampunk revolution will be telegraphed...
(Since advanced critique is encouraged, I'd say a more detailed background, especially the sky, would make it better. But then, that's just being really picky.)
