My monitor seems to be on its way out. I'm trying to get help fixing it, but currently the display is flickering and distorting so badly I can't really do anything.

Just for the record, I did manage to get my monitor fixed! Well, technically not, I had to get it replaced. What I thought was a dying monitor turned out to be a dying monitor AND frying graphics card. These things always happen in spectacular double whammies, don't they? It was a nice new graphics card, too.

On top of that, my hard drive decided to cook itself and I lost everything on it. Thankfully all my vitals - writing and the majority of my decent/finished-ish art - were backed up.

I'm also sorry for not updating as much as I used to. I'm sort of in the process of going back and learning everything I should've studied, and I'm loath to update with a picture that isn't somehow an improvement upon the last.

[Which leads me on to the titular question, if anyone reading this would be so kind as to answer:]

What do you think I need to improve on? Not so much little nitpicks, but big recurring things and general flaws. I try to have as critical an eye as possible when I look at my work, but it's blinded a little by the fact that it's my own work I'm looking at, and there's a lot about art that I don't know.

I've mainly been looking on ConceptArt.org for critiques and help with this sort of thing, but I'd like to hear some opinions from people here too.
